Defixionis is a pitch for a music video that unfolds as a symbolic resurrection narrative built around the ritual of the tabella defixionis. The tabella defixionis was a thin sheet of lead etched with words meant to pierce and bind. Buried in graves, wells, or hidden sanctuaries, it called upon gods, spirits, and the restless dead to bend fate, silence enemies, or ensnare the heart of another.
